Amour – Shiny Iris : her new single is available

On September 30, 2022, the song “Amour” by the French-Congolese singer Shiny Iris is available on all streaming platforms. “Amour” means love in English. It is one of the single of her first ep “Rester positif” which will be released in spring 2023.  

The musical film was shot at the end of August and the beginning of September at the Plage Napoléon and Les Goudes in the 8th district of Marseille. It is a magnificent clip, with a heavenly and cinematographic decor, full of color.

Who is Shiny Iris?

Shiny Iris is a singer from the south of France. She arrived in Nice when she was 6 years old. If she misses her roots, it is through music that she has decided to pay tribute to them, fusing in her songs French and Lingala, French urban pop, African and overseas rhythms.

She sings since her youngest age. She travels the stages of Nice offering mainly covers before moving to Marseille and taking a new path. She learns the guitar, writes her first texts and associates herself with several arrangers and composers for a very first project of afro-tropical urban pop faithful to who she is. If the main themes of Shiny’s lyrics are love, disability, faith, hope or simply hope, it is above all to convey a positive message.

What is the single “Amour” about?

This title is about a young woman madly in love with her boyfriend. They live together a romantic and fusional relationship which will not lead, alas, to anything without commitment. Inspired by a traditional zouk love, this title will come to sunshine your homes from Friday, September 30 on all platforms!

Shiny’s music is a mixture of languages and cultures and therefore also of rhythms. She shares this journey with us with the sole purpose of bringing a positive attitude!

Where does she find her inspiration?

She finds her inspiration from her personal experience. In this mini album, she declares:
